Debbie's New Half Bath!

Every once in awhile Debbie and I take the time to do a room in one of our own houses. It was Debbie's turn. We transformed her half bath into a show stopper. New sink/mirror/paint
I know ya'll get tired of seeing it but we don't get tired of doing it. Art with fabric.

Another view of sink.

This view shows how we painted the ceiling a soft gold color.

I had fun making this window treatment. The fabrics went so well and it came together nicely.

Not much money. Huge returns.

This is a bathroom that just needed a face lift. We removed the horrible stripe wallpaper and painted soft blue walls with white trim.
We updated the faucets, replaced pulls and hinges, framed the mirrors, updated the lighting and put in new towel bars.

GREAT return on investment!

great kitchen

This kitchen was a total do over without taking out the cabinets. We refurbished the cabinets and literally gave them new life. We also replaced the dull outdated hinges and pulls. Almond gold granite also gave the cabinets a "lift". We painted the walls a buttery yellow. Installed a pen light at the kitchen sink giving warmth to the room instead of glaring florescent light.
New sink, faucet, and under cabinet lighting.

We tiled the back splash in a tumbled stone brick.

Then added a punch of mosaic tumbled stone and steel tile behind the stove.

Master Bedroom Redo

This was a total bedroom redo. We wanted the walls to "disappear" so we painted them the same color as the duvet cover. We'll let the pictures speak for themselves We found GREAT lamps for the bedside tables. We made the throw at the foot of the bed and striped pillow.
The bed skirt was too short for the poster bed so we added 5" of the stripe on the bottom pulling it together by using the throw fabric for cording.

Simple panel window treatments add elegance to the room. We also added throw pillows to the leather chairs and found a great table that matches the bedroom furniture and a foot stool matching the chairs.

One of my favorite things! Making art using fabric.

We carried the fabric into the master bath. Unlike the bedroom, we wanted a punch of color in the bath. So, we painted the walls with the coordinating color of the fabric. We made a simple rod pocket valance.

Sorry! Pictures got out of order!

We took down the large plain mirror and put up two separate mirrors. We changed out the lighting to a more modern light.

Custom shower curtain will be mounted higher than normal shower curtain. Creating a feeling of a higher ceiling.
